1. Agreement to terms
By using SimplePost's website, documentation, hosted scheduler, API, MCP server, CLI, or other related services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the hosted services.
The SimplePost source code is publicly available under the MIT license. These Terms govern the hosted services and do not replace or limit the rights granted by that license.
2. The software and services
SimplePost provides an open-source TypeScript SDK and related interfaces for publishing and scheduling content to supported social platforms. You can run the code yourself, connect your own platform apps and credentials, or use the hosted scheduler and MCP service at app.simplepost.social.
Platform availability, quotas, review requirements, moderation, and account restrictions are controlled by the third-party platforms and may change without notice.
3. Your accounts and content
You are responsible for keeping your account, API keys, connected social accounts, and authorized assistant connections secure. You may connect and publish only to accounts or properties that you own or are authorized to manage.
You retain responsibility for the text, media, links, schedules, and other content you submit or publish. You represent that you have the rights needed to use and publish that content.
4. Acceptable use
You may not use SimplePost to:
- Violate law, platform terms, intellectual-property rights, privacy rights, or publicity rights.
- Publish spam, malware, deceptive content, malicious links, or abusive automation.
- Bypass platform rate limits, moderation systems, access controls, or security controls.
- Interfere with SimplePost infrastructure or other users.
5. Third-party platforms
Your use of X, Telegram, Instagram, Facebook, Threads, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Bluesky, or another platform remains subject to that platform's terms, API rules, quotas, review status, and account restrictions. SimplePost is not responsible for a platform rejecting content, revoking access, changing its API, or restricting your account.
6. Hosted service availability
We aim to keep the hosted services available, but they may be interrupted by maintenance, incidents, provider outages, platform changes, or other events. We may change, suspend, or discontinue hosted features as the product evolves.
7. Disclaimer and liability
The hosted services are provided "as is" and "as available" to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant uninterrupted, error-free, or universal compatibility with every platform, assistant, workflow, or API.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SimplePost and its creator are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, failed posts, platform restrictions, or reputational harm.
8. Changes and termination
We may update these Terms by posting a revised version with a new date. We may suspend or terminate hosted access for misuse, security risk, non-payment, or violation of these Terms. You may stop using the hosted services at any time.
